The Cosmic Caper

Unsuccessful Escape

Deciding to escape, you took a deep breath and summoned all of your detective bravery from Zorb. You turned on your heel and sprinted in the opposite direction, thoughts of warning Earth taking over your focus. The Xions were faster than you, though. It felt like you had barely started running when you felt their webbed hands wrap around you. They picked you up as easily as if you were just a coffee cup they were stealing!

Before you could even protest, they plopped you down inside their spaceship. The spaceship was just how you remembered it: dark, shiny, and dangerous, like a big shark. It looked very scary floating in the dark night sky. The roaring cogs and gears of the ship made it seem like it was laughing at you. The door clanged shut and off you were, flying far away from the home you knew.

Inside the spaceship, it was a bit like being the last piece of laundry in the hamper - hidden, tucked away, and not easy to find. You remembered how awful losing your favorite toy felt when it got lost in a huge laundry pile. Now, you were the one lost in the big sea of stars. This was a lot scarier than being a detective back in Zorb. Looking out of the spaceship’s window, you saw unfamiliar stars that made your heart feel empty and alone, similar to the first day at Zorb's school when no one else showed up.

But, this was no time for fear! Even though you were inside the shark-like spaceship, you held onto hope. You were, after all, a brave Zorb's detective! You were here to solve puzzles, find clues, and most of all, save coffee! The Earth still needed you, and you weren't going to let a shiny shark ship stop you. Now was the time to figure out two things: how to break free and how to warn Earth.
